The West Wing: Wall Thickness
The opening in the gray wall at the foot of the blue stairway is drawn to scale. Keep in mind that the west wing, which we have been examining here, lies outside the main theatre building. The gray wall, therefore, is the load bearing exterior wall of the theatre, at places 24 inches thick.
