• African-American Literature. Lots of links to theatre and drama, and well as to other aspects of African-American life. [Gone missing. 12/11/01, JW. Please advise if you find this.]

• American Theatre Web. Links to more than 1200 theatres listed, plus a great deal of information relating to theatre in North America.

• Backstage, "a performing arts gateway for the UK." "Backstage provides a single point of entry for finding and searching performing arts collections in the UK. It is aimed at the research community, plus anyone with an interest in the performing arts." An excellent resource.

• Black Theatre Companies, part of the Black Theatre web site.

  Futurism, a resource for the manifestos and works of members of the Futurist movement.

• Biography of Ira Levin the author of Death Trap, the longest running drama in Broadway history. In addition to the biography, the site contains extensive reviews of Levin's other works.

  London HQ: "categorized resource directory for everything about London." Includes good theatre sections with links to contemporary and historical London materials.

• Music History of the 20th Century. Part of the "Music History On-Line" series.

• National Theatre Archive, U.K., "the repository for the administrative and technical records of the National Theatre. The collection covers the period from the inception of the company in 1963 to the present day. Material accessible to the public includes programmes, posters, photographs, videos, sound recordings of Platform events, press cuttings, prompt scripts, production drawings, costume, lighting, and sound information. The Archive also holds the records of the Shakespeare Memorial National Theatre Trust (1908) and the South Bank Theatre Board."

• PBS's Stage on Screen." Good site, with excellent links.

• San Francisco Opera Performance Archieve. Listing of dates, titles and casts.
